Six years ago was sitting at my desk job dreaming about what my life would look like if I truly owned my own time.

I wanted that to be my reality SO BAD. I had so many business ideas, and even some I had actually launched, but no one to talk to about any of it. I would go home and cry to my husband because, while I was already living a picture-perfect life, there was something in my gut that just knew I was meant for more.

It’s a feeling no one understands unless you’ve felt it yourself.

I spent the following years desperately searching for the “quick fix” business coach who was going to hand me a blueprint and tell me exactly what I was put on this earth for.

Ten thousand+ dollars later, surprise surprise, I never found that unicorn of a person I so desperately yearned to meet.

What I know now looking back, was that I was in the messy middle. I was in between what I was taught life “should” look like, and what I truly wanted for my life.

The messy middle is that space where clarity feels just out of reach and momentum feels hard, but the desire to pursue your purpose is more powerful than ever before.

From burned out employee to thriving business consultant

MY JOURNEY TIMELINE

Burned myself out building a company in the plumbing industry, but back then I didn’t know any better. Earned a Bachelor’s in Business Management and an MBA during this time. Our son was born in 2016, but my nanny raised him because I was never not working.

2017

2018

One of my Virtual Assistant clients had a job opening for a General Manager of their franchise, which I was uniquely qualified for based on my previous experience. Although it meant giving up my time freedom, it was a great job opportunity for my lifestyle at that time. I was hired on while pregnant with our second child!

2020

2005

After our company got bought out & moved my office to another city, I decided to test the waters as an entrepreneur. I sold wooden signs for events, and built a Virtual Assistant business. I owned my own time and loved my new found freedom with my family!

The day the world shut down, we mutually decided it was time for me to be home with my family. I had two kids under 4 and a deep desire to own my own time as an entrepreneur again.

It was during this time that I vowed to myself that I’d never work for someone again. I was going to find a way to become an entrepreneur no matter what it took!

2021

After spending way too much on business coaches, webinars and workshops, I still had no idea what I really wanted to do as an entrepreneur.

After a death in my family turned my world upside down, I realized my passion was supporting women in all stages of life. I wanted to be the person for other women who I desperately craved for my own life.

I started She Can Club, a local women’s group in my hometown, and started hosting events.

  • I’m a mom to a 7 & 9 year old. Everything I do is aligned with the goal that I want to create a life where I get to be at school drop off and pick up gates every day, and can take time off when they’re sick or have breaks.

    My husband and I have been together since before we could drive, so we have built a life together in full alignment with our lifelong goals. He’s a teacher, so we get to spend a LOT of time together as a family during their breaks from school!

  • In 2021 I created a women’s group in my town called She Can Club. We’ve had hundreds of women attend our events always with the goal of creating true connections among local women. I could talk to you for hours about this topic and would love to help women do this in their own communities!

  • The #1 rule in our house is, “if it comes in pink, you buy pink.” We used to have a Barbie Dream House themed Air Bnb that I legitimately covered in pink paint, bright murals and glitter curtains. Every accessory my husband owns is pink and it’s just like a whole thing over here.

  • All power to you if you love dressing up, but if we’re being totally honest, I’m over here building a business where I get to be cozy. My authentic self is wearing yoga pants and a crewneck sweatshirt with some blinged out tennis shoes. As an entrepreneur, I decided that I get to create the vibe for the rooms I’m filling, and in my rooms, we’re cozy, comfortable and confident.
